A high pre-out voltage ensures that the user does not need to turn-up the gain level on external amplifiers. Turning up the gain level too high allows for excessive heat generation in external amplifiers & distortion to creep in. A high pre-out voltage from the radio means that amplifiers can run cool & play all day long with the least amount of distortion (A part of our “Loud & Clean” feature)
